More Words of Wisdom from Jeff Bezos

by Scott Edward Walker on February 11th, 2018

To Our Clients & Friends: Welcome to our weekly series “Helping Entrepreneurs Succeed.”  Each week, we post a favorite video clip of a successful entrepreneur, investor or business leader on a variety of topics.  This week, we present Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon and a truly extraordinary entrepreneur.

In this solid speech at Princeton from a few years back, Jeff shares some words of wisdom and inspiration for entrepreneurs, including the following:

  • “All the curious from the ages would have wanted to be alive most of all right now.” (at 7:17)
  • “I didn’t think I’d regret trying and failing.” (at 9:58)
  • “I took the less safe path to follow my passion, and I’m proud of that choice.” (at 10:11)
  • “When it’s tough, will you give-up or will you be relentless?”  (at 11:30)
  • “In the end, we are our choices. Build yourself a great story.” (at 12:32)

I hope you enjoy it.  Cheers, Scott
